For the spring track season, practices are scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and run for 1 hour. Monday practices will take place at Hidden Valley Regional Park. Wednesday and Thursday practices will be at Damonte Ranch High School. The fall cross country practice locations are TBD and will be updated closer to the season.
We keep the information on this page vague in terms of exact start times and locations for athlete safety. Please use our enrollment form above and email Coach Amanda for more specific practice information.
Mondays @ Hidden Valley Regional Park
Monday practices will typically cycle between tempo workouts and hill workouts. Hill workouts include uphill repeats, downhill repeats with strength activities, or a combination of both!
Wednesdays @ Damonte Ranch HS (track)
Wednesday practices will typically be interval-based workouts to give the athletes exposure to common track workouts and distances.
Thursdays @ Damonte Ranch HS
Thursday practices will alternate between long runs and game days. Long runs will start from our warmup location and run around the Damonte Ranch Wetlands Loop or other trails nearby. The distance for each athlete will vary, but the goal is for everyone to run the whole time.
